The Phoenix Foundation is planning to build a new residential home for 30 people with mental health issues on the Gotthardstall site in Einsiedeln. The publicly advertised architectural competition was decided in May 2019. Baumberger & Stegmeier Architects from Zurich, together with Berchtold Lenzin Landscape Architects, won this competition. The building permit has been in place since September 2021, and the ground-breaking ceremony took place a few days ago. The new residential home is expected to be ready for occupancy at the end of 2024. (aw)
